Revised Julian calendar
About the Revised Julian calendar
Proposed by the Serbian scientist Milutin Milanković and considered at a pan-Orthodox congress in Constantinople in May and June 1923, it makes a century year a leap year only if it leaves a remainder of 200 or 600 when divided by 900. It matches the Gregorian calendar from 1600 until 2800, when the two first diverge. Churches including Constantinople, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria use it for fixed feasts.
