Tzolk'in
About the Tzolk'in
The Tzolk'in is the 260-day ritual calendar of the Maya, combining the numbers 1 to 13 with 20 named days. It ran alongside the 365-day Haab', and a given pairing of the two recurs every 18,980 days, the 52-year Calendar Round. Some highland Maya communities in Guatemala still keep the 260-day count.
