Greece's calendar change, 1923
About the Greece's calendar change, 1923
Greece was the last European country to adopt the Gregorian calendar for civil use, following 15 February 1923 with 1 March. The Church of Greece adopted the Revised Julian calendar in 1924, a change that provoked the Old Calendarist movement which still keeps the Julian calendar.
