Calendar Round
About the Calendar Round
The Calendar Round is the period after which a given combination of the 260-day Tzolk'in and 365-day Haab' recurs, 18,980 days or about 52 years. Mesoamerican peoples marked its completion with ceremonies; the Aztecs held their New Fire Ceremony at the end of each 52-year bundle.
