About the World Calendar

Elisabeth Achelis promoted the World Calendar from 1930: four identical quarters of 91 days with months of 31, 30 and 30 days, plus a Worldsday at year end and an extra leap-year day, both outside the week. The United Nations considered it in the mid-1950s, but opposition, notably from religious groups objecting to breaking the continuous seven-day week, stopped it.
